So I recently went on a bit of a Soap & Glory haul and bought quite a few of their makeup products, and wow is all I can say.
I remember trying their 'Sexy Mother Pucker' lip gloss many years ago and not liking the tingly sensation. Needless to say I decided Soap & Glory wasn't for me and every time I've seen a product since I've walked past not bothering to check it out.
However, at the end of 2011 they launched their new makeup range, and now finally needing to update my staple makeup bag I decided to check it out.
I was not disappointed.
Firstly their foundation, which comes in a simple 30ml bottle, and also contains primer has provided my skin with a fantastic coverage AND it's a quarter of what I paid for my previous Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua! Needless to say I won't be buying another Chanel foundation now. I was seriously pleased with this.
I also bought the Solar Powder bronzer kit which has a part bronzer and part highlighter which you pretty much use all in one to contour and give your face that sun kissed glow. These are also fantastic, I love that the bronzer isn't too glittery so that your makeup doesn't look tacky. The bronzer is perfect, and it comes with a mini brush too so you can touch up when you're on the go!
I also bought the eye primer, which keeps on your eye makeup all night without any need for re-touching! Move over Urban Decay primer. Again at a cheaper price than most of the higher end products at 8 pounds.
I also got the Glow All Out highlighter, another brilliant product that really emphasises my cheekbones and gives me that radiant look that I really wanted to achieve. This works really well with the foundation too as that gives off a dewy look.
I'd say the only minor issue I've had is that after wearing the foundation for a while it can feel rather heavy on your skin. I've only really noticed this after getting in from an evening out, but at least then you can immediately remove it!
All in all I think the Soap & Glory makeup range is fantastic, I can't wait to try the other products soon!
